Visual Astrology

Bernadette Brady & Darrelyn Gunzburg

Visual Astrology is working with the whole sky on the day you were born. Its roots lie in the very origins of astrology when the sky was watched and the movements of stars and planets were studied for signs of change and information about events. This workshop is an introduction to the original astrological use of the planets and shows you how to read their unique story as they move amongst the stars. Using charts from the floor, Bernadette and Darrelyn will show you how to walk in the footsteps of the original astrologers by adding the whole natal sky to your chart-reading skills.

Can we see the Soul in a Horoscope?

Bernadette Brady

A chart begins as a simple representation of the heavens for our moment of birth but in that simplicity lays great complexity. This half day seminar looks at what can be read from a chart. Does it contain your character, your personality, or possibly your unconscious mental complexes? Does it contain your spirit or your soul? Does it contain your physical life but not your spiritual existence? By looking at both Plato’s and Aristotle’s notion of soul we will explore the different techniques for considering the soul within a horoscope which will also lead to the deeper question of what is the actual nature of soul in this context.
